Fatastic product that works as its intended. L-Glutamine is an amino acid the most abundant amino acid in the human body as a matter of fact. It's been used in everything from cancer research to bodybuilding. It's primary goal is the removal of ammonia from the body. When you exercise, your body can't produce enough Glutamine, and that's were supplementation comes in! Don't take my word for it, you need this stuff. Just give it a try and you'll quickly realize that you can't go without.

I tried a sample of MHP's Glutamine SR at the mall. i liked the flavor because it was way better than the other glutamine I was taking, theres no chalky aftertaste in fact when you mix it by itself there is really no taste as well. My gym pals use it now and they like the fact that it keeps your muscles in an anti-catabolic most of the time because it is time released. i have never been a fan of time released because i always want whatever i am taking to kick in immediately but they say time released is better because it nourishes the body continously. With the MHP Glutamine SR my muscles feel full all the time and I am ready to pump. I truely believe this is one of the best Glutamine's out there, despite the time released factor.

It's ben a couple of weeks that I've been taking the MHP Glutamine. Honestly I have noticed a nice increase but not 100% what I am looking for but ultimately I have no major complaints. I gained muscle but to me there was not enough defining muscle just mass. That could be more of my fault as well because I have not been working out with high reps i have been concentrating on lifting more and more weight. A key selling point for me was the fact that I can mix it with my protein shake and not even know that it was in there.

Normally if I saw time released or sustained release i walked the other way, but i gave MHP's Glutamine-SR a chance and it was well worth it. The sustained release is more noticeable on heavy and hard workout days because that's when you would normally get super sore and need some type of support for your muscles. Give you this is not the least expensive product on the market but man is it worth it in the end! It doesn't disolve well in water at all and you may loose product or end up having to scrap the bottom of the cup to get everything out. My recovery time has definitely improved which is great on my heavy days so i can do more. I'm not hesitant anymore to give it all I got because I know I will have Glutamine-SR to back me up.

It may not be one of the better tasting products out there but this is a very good Glutamine. MHP Glutamine-SR is a ustained release glutamine just like it's name states. so what I do is take it three times a day, the middle time is usually right after my workout. This way i have it constantly pumping through my muscles. It is truely one of the best recovery powders that I have used in a long time. when I have a real heavy workout period it doesn't even effect me as far as being sore because the MHP Glutamine prevents the sore muscles because it is constantly in me.
