ALA is a strong antioxidant that enhances other antioxidants it's taken with. It also increase nutrient and glycogen uptake to the muscles. So far, since using this product, I've seen some strength and size gains and lost some fat. This is from AST, one the of the better companies on the market, all of there products are good quality. I highly recommend it.
