Good for sweet tooth - 04/28/2014 Overall Rating:4 out of 5 Reviewer:Charles Olivera from Frt Lauderdale Florida Product:ANSI Ultimate Flurry
When i bought it, got a decent price on chocolate lovers Ultimate Flurry by ansi. Basically, at the time I couldnt find a review for it so I went with it with trust and got it.
To start off this review,
it's a very a very thick protein shake, it reminds me and is kind of like the original EAS shakes. The taste is It is very sweet tasing and which is due to all the artificial sweeteness in it which I really don't prefer .These include Sucralose and Acesulfume, but fortunately and thankfully, no Aspartame.
I did not think that it mixed very well either. I did use a shaker blender bottle which usually works out pretty good. I could not find this out before purchasing since I did it online and the selling site only posted the basic nutritional info. This thing really fills you up. The one scoop serving is pretty large- bigger than most. Unfortunately the protein content per serving was only 25 grams, so I ended up supplementing with another drink that wasn't quite as heavy-an all whey drink to get my protein content up to around 40 grams, which I prefer. For me it was a lot of work to get through this container. I dreaded the sweetness and heaviness of the drink, so I was somewhat inconsistent in my usage. I'll probably go back to Optimum Nutrition's Gold standard whey which for me is a much lighter drink. It's just a bit pricey.
