Ingredients

NMDA
A recent addition to the marketplace, D-Aspartic Acid has gained a solid reputation as an effective test booster, with research to back it up. Paragon uses N-methyl D-Aspartate, a stronger version of DAA. NMDA promotes LH release and promotes synthesis of StAR - the steroidogenic acute regulatory protein, a transport protein that controls cholesterol delivery in the mitochondria.

Menaquinone-4
Vitamin K is found in the testes in large amounts. MK-4 is the active form of this often unheard from vitamin. Animal research has indicated that a deficiency of Vitamin K results in decreased levels of testosterone. Additional research has indicated that MK-4 can increase levels of testosterone through the use of P450scc, protein kinase A and CREB:

• P450scc is an enzyme that converts cholesterol to pregnenolone — once StAR transports cholesterol to the steriodogenic cell mitochondria, this enzymatic process is the rate-limiting step in testosterone production. Paragon increases P450scc function by including a potent dose of MK-4, thereby opening up higher levels of testosterone production.
• PKA is an enzyme that serves numerous functions, one of which is to “turn on” steroidogenic transcription factors, such as StAR, steroidogenic factor 1 and GATA-4. PKA promotes transport of cholesterol to the mitochondria of leydig cells in the testes.
• CREB has a part in the control of StAR, as well as promoting increased StAR functions.

Vitamin D3
Vitamin D has been the subject of much research lately. One area of interest in its ability to increase testosterone levels. Two recent research studies have demonstrated a connection between serum Vitamin D and levels of testosterone. Vitamin D serves numerous positive functions and its inclusion in the Paragon formula is a logical one.

Forskolin

Urtica Dioica extract

Euonymous Alatus extract blocks aromatase effectively. It may in fact be the strongest aromatase blocker available today. Animal research has been impressive in one study using EA extracts led to complete estrogen shut down in normal female rats

Euonymus Alatus, Prunella Vulgaris disrupts estrogen receptor signaling. It’s not completely understood how it does this but it has proven to be effective. The combination of both of these allows for total estrogen control.

Directions
