Trainer: Kevin McEntyre aka RoaringMad Mac
Trainer Level: Personal Trainer
My name is Kevin McEntyre from Birmingham Alabama. I've been lifting weights since I was 10 years old. Starting off with no more weight then the bar, my father made sure my technique was perfect before I was allowed to add any weight. By the 7th grade I was already playing football and by 9th I was playing for our varsity football team in Louisiana. I moved to Mississippi my junior year in High school where I also played football and started power lifting. After graduating high school I went to junior college to play football at Hinds Community College.
In 1995 I meet a lifelong friend Named Robert Rothrock a massive bodybuilder who in 1990 beat Flex Wheeler in the NPC Junior Nationals. I worked out with him for 4 good years and got into serious power lifting, making some really great gains in the state of Mississippi. Bench record of 610, squat 1,010, and a dead lift of 865lb.
I am totally natural, never have taken any steroids which I thank Rock (Robert Rothrock) from keeping me away from that side of the Bodybuilding scene. I am naturally strong and glad GOD gave me the strength that he has given me.

Exercise promotes a disciplined lifestyle and creates an attitude of, "sound body and sound mind." This discipline transfers to other life pursuits in that it helps develop a positive self image.
How do I motivate clients?
True motivation comes from within. I attempt to put exercise in a "must do category" and instill the idea that exercise is recreation and a great social outlet. Exercise must be fun, which in turn helps clients motivate themselves and feel in better health and be stronger.
Current Fitness Regime
I combine of variety of activities into my current exercise program including running, jumping, lifting, swimming and stretching. I like all exercise routines. My goal is to continue working out to my maximum personal potential.
