L-CARNITINE L-TARTRATE Rather than use several unproven, more expensive types of glutamine, we chose to combine glutamine with an additional amino acid that is backed by science.
Carnitine is made from the combination of two amino acids: lysine and methionine. It has an important function in regards to cellular energy, helping the process of fat burning by transporting fat to be used as fuel by the body. L-tartrate is a type of salt commonly used to enhance nutrient absorption. Research indicates that L-carnitine L tartrate can decrease post training soreness, enhance sensitivity to the anabolic hormone insulin and speed muscle tissue repair from intense workouts. The research dosing is 1-2 grams per day. RECHARGE provides 700 mg per serving. Why only 700mg? It’s common for athletes to use 2 servings a day of some products, which would then put the dosage right in the middle of the research level amount.
