The powerful, non-hormonal Tribulus terrestris uses active steroid saponins. The predominant chemical compound in this is protodioscine. The pituitary-gonadal axis initiates anabolic effects of protodioscine. The levels of testosterone and LH (Luteinizing hormone), which initiates the production of testosterone) are enhanced as a result.
