I started lifting in April of 2011 with my best friend in his basement, using only a Jr. bench press set, adjustable dumbbells, and some yoga mats. I didn't truly understand lifting, form, nutrition, or basically anything else well enough to make gains until a short 6 months ago. Since last May I have made incredible gains compared to EVERYTHING I did in the previous year and a quarter, and I'm loving lifting more than ever. I'm currently and will continue doing Wendler's 5/3/1, using my own twist on the bodybuilding template for the accessory lifts.
Cameron Copeland Goal
At this point my goal is clear: to achieve a 10-12% body fat base that I can take and lean-bulk with for forever. I have always been skinny-fat with little muscle mass and I just don't feel good about myself, no matter if I'm gaining strength or not. Thus, I have decided to start a cut using Leangain's Intermittent Fasting on January 1st. I will most likely be targeting a 1lb loss of weight per week, with the ideal intention of retaining all muscle mass and even continuing to make strength gains.
