PB2 uses top quality peanuts which are roasted and then pressed to remove the fat, leaving a peanut powder. PB2 is all natural using no artificial sweeteners or preservatives and has the consistency of typical peanut butter with less calories.
There are 180 calories in a serving of two tablespoons of traditional peanut butter, there are only 52 calories – and 40% protein by weight - in the same serving size of PB2 powder.
As a peanut butter powder, PB2 can be added to water or any other liquid, as well as honey or jelly for a PB2 and jelly sandwich. You can add it to your protein shakes to enhance the flavor and add extra protein, add it to smoothies, have it on fruit or on frozen yogurt.
