What is Formadex?
Formadex contains the suicide aromatase inhibitor Formestane (4-hydroxyandrostenedione), a clinically proven anti-estrogen that has been shown to reduce estrogen levels signifigantly to reduce unwanted side effects of elevated estrogen levels. Formadex works by attaching to the active binding site of the aromatase enzyme, preventing it from interacting with other steroids or prohormones that are capable of being converted to estrogen, and deactivating it. If the inhibitor is present in a high enough level it can dramatically suppress estrogen concentrations in the blood and lessen the negative side effects of estrogen.
Competitor VS Suicide Inhibitors..
The difference between a competitive inhibitor and a suicide estrogen inhibitor,like Formadex, is that the former will detach after time and activate the enzyme again. Formadex on the other hand binds permanently with the aromatase enzyme, rendering it useless until the body actually replaces it through the normal metabolic attrition of enzymes.
Estrogen Needs...
Although most only think of the negative aspect of estrogen, it has both positive and negative effects that need to be addressed. On the negative side of estrogen, it can promote gynecomastia (the development of female breast tissue) in men if levels get too high. Elevated estrogen levels can also increase water retention and fat buildup which are both very unwanted side effects when trying to achieve that lean and defined look. Directions
